Gift Card Balance Growth

This Christmas themed visualization utilizes gift_card_transactions.csv dataset to draw attention to the accumulation of gift card/certificate balace.

From 2016 to 2019, gifts of $10922.49 were purchased and $4680.58 of those were used by the reciepients at The Art Theater.

It seems that CU residents were very generous to buy more gifts than the reciepients can ever spend.

In just about 2 years, the accumulation of unused gift card balance reached $5,000.
